After 640 appearances, 22-year-old Émilien left Les 12 coups de midi this Sunday, July 6, on TF1. Arriving on the show in September 2023, he leaves with the exceptional sum of €2.56 million, in cash and gifts, making him the biggest winner in the history of French game shows, surpassing the previous record held by Bruno Lafourcade.
Originally from Vendée, Émilien studied history and geography in Toulouse before putting his degree on hold to devote himself to acting. A fan of the show since childhood, he first tried his luck at 18 without success, before trying again at his grandmother's insistence.
Discreet and modest, Émilien impressed the audience with his extensive knowledge. Among his winnings are numerous cars, which he plans to share or resell. On set, he greeted the team and offered a word of encouragement to his successor, Romain.
Jean-Luc Reichmann , moved, described this departure as a "historic moment" for the program. Émilien now plans to resume his studies in 2026, after taking a year to enjoy what he has experienced and take a breather.
